Ruane Inspection Samples back
During the past 30 or so years Argyll-Ruane Ltd has amassed one of the world's largest collections of samples for use in most inspection and non-destructive testing methods to ensure candidates attending their training and certification programs have the best possible experience of defect types and realistic defect positions.
Over the decades ARL has not only acquired samples(produced and actual), but also designed many samples both for itself and clients. During the early part of 2011 it was decided to formalise the services ARL has been providing by the creation of Ruane Inspection Samples Ltd. RIS operates from the Halesowen Centre (Near Birmingham) of ARL under the careful control of the centre manager Mr Andy Kular.
The capability of RIS is that it can design & manufacture (or arrange specialist manufacture) master samples, (meeting both training and certification specific criteria) relating to: Welds, Castings and forgings, resin replicas, radiographs with original defects (welds/castings) and computer designed reproductions specific for visual and weld inspection.
RIS can also evaluate sample design to ensure the defects the client needs to be detected by various methods meet the specification criteria.
RIS experience will enable any prospective purchaser to ensure their sample needs can be fully met and to schedule. Some samples are held in stock, whilst most will be specifically commissioned for the client. RIS has a worldwide Client base including Russia, South Africa, Middle East, Europe and the Far East and we are only an email or phone call away!
